Kraft

SMA Mineral manufactures a range of lime products for the paper and pulp industry. Our product family, Kraft, includes solutions for most applications, regardless of the process step you, as a customer, are involved in.

For specific requests, products can also be tailored to meet unique customer requirements.

SMA Kraftmesa

A re-burned kraft mesa. The mesa, which has been landfill waste, is transformed into prime raw material. SMA Kraftmesa has good workability, reduces the need for acid washing, and has excellent reactivity that resembles the customer’s own re-burned mesa.

SMA Cellkalk

Lime with a burning degree tailored for the cellulose industry. High purity thanks to low levels of process-related foreign elements (PFG) and a high CaO content.

SMA Kraftkalk C

A blend of SMA Kraftmesa and SMA Cellkalk with high purity. The proportion of SMA Kraftmesa and SMA Cellkalk is adjusted to achieve the desired effect.

Internal water treatment and pH adjustment

SMA Mineral offers several lime products suitable for internal water treatment and pH adjustment of process water. Regardless of which product is used, we can meet your needs for high-quality products. The most commonly used products for this type of application are burnt lime, slaked lime, and crushed and ground limestone products.
