Customers with Special Processes Require Specialized Suppliers and Products that Meet Specific Requirements.

In the Ferrum family, we have gathered the lime products in our program that cover the steel manufacturing process. These products are suitable for both stainless steel and carbon steel.

Regardless of the application, we develop products with the right chemistry and raw materials, produced with the utmost consideration for the environment.

Ferrum S

Burnt Lime for Many Needs. Primarily used in electric arc furnaces. Can be controlled screened and delivered in different fractions, ranging from ground to coarse lump lime.

Ferrum DS

Burnt Dolomite with a chemical composition and properties that suit most customers. Can be produced in fractions ranging from 0 to 60 millimeters.

Ferrum R

Burnt lime with higher strength and lower carbon content than Ferrum S. Typically produced in smaller fractions up to 40 millimeters and often used in the converter in steel production.

Ferrum DR

Burnt Dolomite with extra calcination and higher strength. Normally delivered in fractions up to 40 millimeters.

Ferrum R+

A specially developed burnt lime for applications with extra demands on low carbon content and/or sulfur. Extra high strength and minimized fines.

Ferrum C

Limestone Product. Available in various chemical compositions, strength, and fractions based on needs. Sourced both from our own deposits and from partners.

Ferrum H

Slaked Lime produced from Ferrum S, R, and R+. Ferrum H has the chemical properties required for, among other things, neutralization processes.

Ferrum D

Our light dolomite delivered from our own deposit. High chemical purity.
