Boda Lime Plant

SMA Mineral acquired the Boda Lime Plant in 1986. Since then, the facility has been continuously modernized, and the business has expanded. Boda produces quicklime using stone material from the nearby limestone deposit in Jutjärn. The production of quicklime is carried out in a Maerz double-shaft kiln, and there is also equipment for grinding and briquette production. Customers are primarily within the steel, construction, and chemical industries.
