Ristimaa

The Ristimaa quartz quarry is located about six kilometers south of the Kalkkimaa lime plant. High-quality quartz is extracted here. It is crushed on-site by a contractor, but some of it is also further processed at Kalkkimaa. The majority of the products are used by the steel industry in their chromium furnaces.
