Hi, Jan-Erik! What does your role in sales at SMA Mineral involve?

- Hello! As a sales engineer at SMA Mineral, I mainly work with customers in the agricultural sector. My day-to-day work is varied and includes everything from meeting our resellers and end customers to participating in advisory discussions where we talk about how our lime products can contribute to nutrient-rich, productive agricultural land. It’s about creating value for our customers and helping them optimize their results through the proper use of our products.

What’s the best part of your job?

- The best part is helping our customers find solutions tailored to their businesses. It’s rewarding to know that our work contributes to better yields for farmers.

How does the collaboration look between sales and other departments?

- Collaboration with other departments is a key part of our work. Especially within the agricultural sector, logistics and environmental issues are important, and we work closely to ensure that our products reach customers on time and are used in the best possible way.
